Between 9:00 and 10:00 AM, the culture of the Scandinavian clubs is featured in community announcements in addition to music from all the Scandinavian countries. Nordic Activities and events are announced by the many Scandinavian Clubs in the area, including Sons of Norway, Daughters of Norway, Swedish Club, Nordic Heritage Museum, Danish Brotherhood and Danish Sisterhood.
Weekly host Doug Warne has recently been to Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Reykjavik to pick up items to add to their record and CD library. Each week is an education in Scandinavian music and what’s happening in the community and is a lot of fun.
